Free for all Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers, this seminar will be presented by the Illinois Department on Aging (SHIP) on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.\nEver wonder what all those Medicare parts are and what are they used for? Whether you are new to, or currently have Medicare, this seminar is a great opportunity to gain knowledge of Medicare and to learn the importance of choosing the right plan.\nThe seminar will cover:\n\nMedicare open enrollment dates: October 15th to December 7th.\nMedicare eligibility, coverage options, etc.\nMedicare – Medicaid dual eligibility.\nMedicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap/MedSup).\nMedicare Advantage Plans (HMO, PPO) and the 2024 Medicare Part D plans.\nThe importance of checking your current plan and comparing it with other plans for the new year.\nHow to create your Medicare personalized account where you can see important messages.\n\nThe seminar will be offered at 2:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the Troy Township Community Center located at 25448 W.
