TROY TOWNSHIP ASSESSOR NICHOLAS SURGES – Nick is a lifelong Troy Township resident. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lewis University. He has worked in the Illinois assessment profession for over 14 years. Nick earned his Certified Illinois Assessing Officer designation from the Illinois Property Assessment Institute. Within the last few years, he received his CIAO-I designation, the state’s second highest ranking for assessors. In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as sports.
