Clerk

The township clerk is keeper of all township records except for active general assistance cases. The clerk is required to keep accurate records of all township board meetings and maintain records of the board’s executive sessions; records roll call votes. Clerk also serves as the local election authority and is responsible for publishing or posting of legal notices, including notices for the highway commissioner. The clerk must witness bid openings for both the township and road district.

TROY TOWNSHIP CLERK JEROME A. NUDERA, JR. – resident of Will County and Troy Township since 1989. He retired as a Deputy Chief with the Will County Sheriff’s Office in 2017 after 28 years of service. Jerry received his B.A from Lewis University and his MPA from Roosevelt University. Jerry spends his spare time as a Boy Scout leader. He is the Scoutmaster for Troop 256, chartered by Troy Schools 30C. Jerry also sits on the Rainbow Council, Boy Scouts of America, Executive Committee as the Vice President of Outdoors Adventures. Jerry is married and has three sons.
