Troy Township Road District Bid Opening

Call to Order

Clerk Larry Ryan called the bid opening to order at 1:00 p.m.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Purpose of Bid Opening

Clerk Ryan stated that the purpose of the bid opening was to open bids for Resurfacing 2026 (milling and resurfacing on County Farm Road and South Rock Run Drive) as advertised for bid in the March 11, 2026, edition of the Joliet Herald News. The bid opening date and time was published in said bid notice as Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

Discussion and Review

Clerk Ryan announced that all bids will be reviewed by Highway Commissioner Ward, who will verify all bids, quantities, and unit prices submitted.

Questions from attendees included the Road District’s estimate at approximately $125,000 and the contract award within a week (pending review). After asking for any other concerns or questions, Ward and Ryan closed the discussion.
