The Illinois Attorney General’s Office will present tips to prevent identity theft and ways to restore your financial profile if it happens to you. Everyday actions can leave anyone open to identity theft.

This presentation will teach you how to:

• Recognize common scams and their many variations
• Set up fraud alerts, security freezes, and opt-outs
• Report scams and manage the situation
